There are many incredible sites to explore and snorkel in the bay, including Coconut Island, the Kane’ohe Sandbar, Key Hole, or one of the many protected patch reef systems within the bay. We will provide you a safety briefing and kayaking orientation from our friendly, knowledgeable instructors, then send you off on your adventure with a detailed, waterproof map packed with exciting points of interest to visit! For ease, set off on your kayak straight from the water’s edge.

Fish are one of the most revered aspects of Kaneohe Bay, both historically and today. In the 1800's there were at least 30 fishponds in Kaneohe Bay alone, in addition to large offshore fishing efforts made by native Hawaiian communities. Kaneohe Bay is home to a wide variety of sea life, including over 200 species of coral. The bay is also home to many popular fish, such as the parrotfish, clownfish, and tang. Kaneohe Bay is a great place to snorkel or dive. Whether you're a seasoned scuba diver or a first-time snorkeler, Kaneohe Bay is sure to provide an unforgettable experience.

We provide a variety of options for rentals. If you have some of your own gear, choose from ala carte rentals: kayak, life jackets, paddles, adjustable backrests, and map. Or, if you’re visiting, we recommend the “total yak pack” which includes the kayak, paddles, life jackets, and backrests as well as an anchor, waterproof dry bag, snorkeling gear (two sets/tandem, one set/single), and the all-important waterproof map of Kane'ohe Bay. Choose from several points of interest including Coconut Island, Sunken Island, Sunken City, and numerous reefs formed by the healthiest living coral on Oahu! And don’t forget your camera!
