HANA HALEAKALA HELICOPTER TOUR
Island of Maui
The Hana Rain Forest extends for over 180 square miles along Maui's northern coast and is the largest tropical rain forest in our nation. Join us on the best helicopter tour to Haleakala and Hana.
Climb above central Maui and ascend the world's largest dormant volcano, Haleakala (which means "House of the Sun" in Hawaiian). Discover its immense moonlike crater with pure iron oxide cinder cones towering over 1,100 feet tall. See Kaupo and Ko'olau Gaps; the huge lava flows from the crater to the sea. The Hana coastline is home to the "Seven Pools" and Lindbergh's grave while beyond the lush forested valleys is the dramatic and nearly uninhabited "backside" of Kaupo.
Visually stunning. Breathtaking. Unbelievable. These are just some of the ways to describe the Hana Haleakala Helicopter Tour.
From this bird's eye view, you'll see details that simply aren't possible from the ground—like the moon-like crater of Mount Haleakala, each tier of the Seven Pools of Oheo Gulch's cascading waterfalls, and the entirety of Maui's eastern shoreline. All in just 45 short minutes.
The Seven Sacred Pools on Maui are a series of waterfalls and pools located in the Haleakala National Park. The pools were formed by rainfall over centuries, and they can be fairly tranquil or incredibly dangerous depending on the weather conditions. Seeing the waterfalls from above is truly a spectacular experience, so you will definitely want to bring your camera along.
Mt. Haleakala is a dormant volcano located in Maui, Hawaii. It is the world’s largest inactive volcano and has an immense crater that can be seen from space. On this tour, you will be able to soar hundreds of feet above the otherworldly landscape inside the crater. The huge mountain is deeply sacred to the Native Hawaiians and is also home to many rare plant and animal species.
